What I am looking forward to most is being a part of (meeting and working with) this group of diverse individuals who are looking for possible solutions to conservation problems as well as better understanding the concept of conservation and how it applies to real world situations. I am also excited to be in Arizona because it will be my first time ever being west of the Mississippi River!
I hope to get a better understanding of the concept of conservation and how I can use it in my field of study as well as to gain a lot of field experience through this program. In addition, I hope to use what I will do in the field and what I will learn from this program to achieve my future career goals.
