1) I was most drawn to working with peers from around the country that are passionate about conservation and environmental justice to help produce a more effective movement. I am also super excited about working with indigenous people on their homeland and spending time in the Arizona landscapes!

2) Understanding that the conservation movement requires intersectionality to be successful, one aspect that I want to focus on specifically is working with underprivileged groups to make their living environment safe and making the outdoors more accessible. Helping to grow the movement in this way seems like my role at this point in time.
