Jessica Tran
1) Having lived in New England my entire life, I’m thrilled for the opportunity to travel and learn about the Southwest’s environment since it so different! I wanted to be a part of DDCSP@NAU since it would give me the opportunity to expand my understanding of conservation beyond the northeast.
2) Hopefully, in the future, this experience will help me contribute to the area of urban sustainability. In order to mitigate the consequences of climate change, biodiversity loss, and more, we need to redesign our cities to be sustainable for both humans and nature.
