1) The sites that the DDCSP@NAU studies, such as the Grand Canyon and Bear’s Ears National Monument was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to be a part of the program. I also wanted to be a part of a diverse group of people that I could make meaningful connections with and learn from.
2) As of right now, I’m most interested in the field of land management, specifically in the context of urban cities. The human-environment relationship has always been the most fascinating aspect of the conversation for me, and growing up in a city has led me to take a special interest in these types of environments
